High Quality Marine Service
VMS A/S consists of a team of nearly 100 specialized engineers, highly skilled in the maintenance and repair of marine and offshore installations as well as power plants.
We provide service on all types of diesel engines, gears, propellers etc at competitive prices and terms thanks to our team of highly motivated and skilled employees working in a transparent organization with a flat and flexible structure.
We have the following facilities at our disposal:

Frederikshavn: Main office, workshops for marine, machine and turbo (approximately 3000 m2) as well as a spare parts store for VMS and customers.

Ølensvåg near Haugesund, Norway: Turbo workshop.

Brazil: Two fully equipped engineers with access to workshop facilities in our partner company.

Furthermore a number of our engineers have visas for Brazil and the US.
 Masson Marine Propulsion systems:
Sales and service partner for Masson products in the Nordic area incl., Faroe Island, Iceland and Greenland.
Reverse and non reverse gear in range from 350 to 5500 Hp.
FP and CP propeller from D. 1000 to 5000 mm.

VMS employees are a healthy mixture of young and mature people all Scandinavian speaking and naturally having English as their second language. All have a real maritime background and are highly qualified service engineers. Approximately 2/3 of the employees are used to travelling and working all over the world.

Safety is a very important issue for VMS. We focus on safety when working both ashore at our premises and on board and have a very low accident rate in comparison to our industry as whole.
All we do we aim to do in an organized, efficient and safe way thus achieving the best results for our customers and the highest satisfaction for ourselves. We, as employees, must in the end be proud of the jobs we have been a part of.
